Bereidingswijze

 My mother makes the best lentil soup, this recipe was inspired by her soup, but this version is faster done. This way you can make a delicious real delicious lentil soup in less then 30 minutes!

Chop the onion, carrot and celery in in rough cubes, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a big pot and shortly cook the veggies. Chop up the garlic and add it to the pot together with a teaspoon cinnamon and with two teaspoons of cumin. Then add one spoon of tomato puree and keep stirring. 

As soon as everything is mixed in, pour in 1 liter of water together with the vegetablebroth and slowly bring the soup to a boil. When it al has boiled for ten minutes add the canned lentils, boil for an additional 10 minutes. Your kitchen should be smelling great right about now. Season the the soup with salt and pepper and you're done! Serve with Homemade garlic bread.
