Directions

This dish is actually one of the simplest things that a student can put on the table. The only thing you need is an oven and one burner. It is so simple, that you should almost call it heating instead of cooking, but that is actually the charm of this dish!

Because you want to put your hands to work, you can already start with pre-heating the oven. Heat it on 220 °C.

Firstly we are going to wash the sweet potato, after doing this, cut it in slices. Secondly, cut these slices into strips, so you are making good looking fries. Usually these strips are around 0,5 centimetres thick, but just do what feels right for you. Only make sure that the fries are all around the same size, otherwise there will be a difference in how crunchy they will be baked. When the fries are cut, put them in a bowl and add some herbs to your taste. Mix them around and then put them on a baking tray with baking paper on it. Also add a bit of olive oil. The fries need to be in the oven for around 25 to 30 minutes. Take them out halfway to mix it through one more time.

Now put on a pan with water on the furnace, this is for the broccoli. While the water is heating, you can rip the broccoli. Just take of firm parts of the broccoli so you will have several sizes of broccoli florets. Just before the water is boiling, you have to put the fish in an oven dis hand put it in the oven. This has to be in for around eight to ten minutes. Make sure to time this right with the fries!

When the water is boiling, add some salt and throw in the broccoli. This has to boil for around six to eight minutes, so make sure that the fish is already in for a minute or so. This way, everything will be done at the same time, and that is definitely the tastiest.

After the given time you can take out everything from the oven and divide it over two plates. Now you have made a simple, quick, and mostly a tasty dish. Potato, vegetables and fish, what else could we wish for today?
