Braised Leek with Pine Nuts

Directions

This winter recipe is very tasty at this time. The flavors that combine perfectly is a feast in the mouth. Even if you are not a leek lover you will love this!

You start with cutting the leek in thin slices. You also have to chop the fresh parsley and the fresh oregano. Now you can start with roasting your pine nuts in a dry baking pan on normal fire. Melt the ghee and the olive oil toghether in a big baking pan. Bake the leek and stir until its golden brown. Now you can add the vegetable stock and let this simmer for about 10 minutes untill the leek is soft. Stir in the herbs and sprinkle the pine nuts over when serving.
